Brands and Imprints

A non-profit publisher founded more than 80 years ago, OCP continues to expand its products, services, brands and imprints in order to better serve the Church. We've come a long way from the simple tracts and Mass booklets of the early years. In addition to publishing two diocesan newspapers, OCP now administers a church bulletin service and contemporary music and book divisions.

Offering the latest releases by both established artists and emerging talents, the website also provides resources for youth and young adult ministries, online prayers, podcasts, devotions, concert/event information, and much more.

Pastoral Solutions OCP acquired Pastoral Solutions, formerly Liturgical Publications of St. Louis, Inc., in 2007. Since 1972, the company has provided weekly bulletins, annual directories and other services to worshiping communities across the U.S.

Catholic Sentinel The Catholic Sentinel, the diocesan newspaper for the State of Oregon, is the oldest Catholic newspaper on the West Coast. Founded in 1870, it is now one of the most successful and award-winning diocesan newspapers in the country.

El Centinela Católico El Centinela is a monthly publication in Spanish for Hispanic Catholics in the Archdiocese of Portland and the State of Oregon. Editor Rocío Rios is a journalist from Colombia with experience in both newspaper and television reporting. She wrote for El Espectador, one of Colombia's two major daily newspapers, for five years.

  Pastoral Press began in the early 1980s as the publishing division of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM). OCP acquired Pastoral Press in 1998 and continues its mission to publish works of high scholarly quality and works for ministers in the parish.
