Who Do You Say I Am

This Cleveland-based group is familiar both as a headliner and backup band at youth rallies, concerts, retreats and conferences around the country. Bilingual and supremely talented, they reaches audiences in both English and Spanish. Most of the members have Puerto Rican heritage.

Led by Andy Andino (director, manager, guitar, vocals), Who Do You Say I Am includes Dee Dee Alvarado (lead vocals), Dennis Rodriguez (bass), Frankie Gonzalez (lead guitar/ nylon guitar), Camille Garcia (lead vocals) and guest artist Wendy Andino (Daughters of God, acoustic guitar/vocals).

The group started around 1988, when Andy was juggling gigs as a pastoral musician with Latin dance music shows in clubs. Since then, they have performed at a number of national and international conferences and events, including World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) conventions and National Catholic Youth Conferences (NCYC).

"The main purpose of this group," Andy says, "is to spread the Gospel in song, and to spread it in a way that attracts and motivates young people to praise our Lord." Based on their own stories of personal healing, conversion and recovery, their music is a "testimony of survival" that offers inspiration and hope to all, confirming that "God is here among us."

When they're not touring, composing or recording, the members of Who Do You Say I Am like to devote time to various ministries, including visiting local prisons and attending church missions.
