Don E. Saliers

Dr. Don Saliers is one of the nation’s foremost writers on hymnody and music in the liturgy. He served as general editor of Sounding Glory: Hymns for the Church Year and is a regular contributor to Today’s Liturgy. He is a retired professor of theology and worship at Emory University in Atlanta, where he also served as director of the master of sacred music program. He was also organist and choirmaster at the university’s Cannon Chapel.

Dr. Saliers moves widely in ecumenical and liturgical circles in North America, lecturing and writing on liturgy, music and aesthetics.
