What was your inspiration for Mass of New Life?
I feel that any setting of the Liturgy should combine a vibrant, energetic expression of the community's faith with a sense of mystery and transcendence. While a composer has a nearly infinite palette of musical possibilities, he or she must find a language that is both accessible to the community and also expressive of that which is yet to be—the life which can only be spoken of through art and imagination. « Hide
