After 40 years of one pattern of phrasing, getting used to a new one that is similar but not the same is difficult. I went with easy to remember tunes and repetition so that the assembly could grab on to it quickly, but also used interesting tunes that would hold up over time.

What was your inspiration for Mass of St. Frances Cabrini?
I wanted to honor a female saint and my friend in the Liturgy office of the Dallas Diocese, Franci Nussbaum-Vitanza. Mass of Saint Frances Cabrini was a perfect choice. « Hide
