Your Kingdom Come

Christopher Willcock, SJ

It begins with a celebration of God's kingdom in creation, rejoices in God's continuing presence today, and prepares for the coming liturgy of the saints in heaven.

Your Kingdom Come completes Christopher's trilogy of Mass settings. It begins with a celebration of God's kingdom in creation, rejoices in God's continuing presence today, and prepares for the coming liturgy of the saints in heaven. Especially powerful in the Easter season, its finely crafted songs can be easily used in a variety of liturgies all year long.

All of the songs "sing" naturally and faithfully match the spirit of the texts. Although elaborately recorded, Christopher designed each part to be used with basic resources; cantor, keyboard and assembly. He also supplies a rich offering of optional SATB choral parts, obligato instrumental parts, brass ensemble parts, timpani and more. The pieces are created to sound effective in practice, be gracious to perform and readily encourage repeated use. The assembly parts are not difficult and the cantor and choir parts range from easy to moderately difficult.
