The composers of the Archdiocese of Miami present 13 songs and villancicos ("carols") that express the devotion and excitement with which Christians approach the feast of the Nativity and the season of Christmas.

Featuring original texts and music, extensive performance notes from the composers, and typical Caribbean and Latin American rhythms, the songs intend to draw Hispanic assemblies into a deeper contemplation of the traditional images of this holy season. Includes a song for Epiphany and a setting for the Canticle of Simeon.
