RENEW is a process of spiritual renewal and evangelization designed to unify the church through prayer, education and fellowship. The process flows out of the conviction that evangelization and spiritual renewal happen best in this age when the parish becomes a community of small Christian communities. There are five RENEW seasons, each are six weeks long and each have a different theme or focus.

Renewing for the 21st Century is the ideal musical complement to RENEW 2000, a special adaptation of the RENEW process designed to help parishes prepare for the new millennium. It is based on major themes suggested by Pope John Paul II in his apostolic letter. The process offers something for everyone in the parish, but gives special attention to the needs of young adults, both single and married.

Volume One of Renewing for the 21st Century focuses on the themes of seasons one and two; Volume Two covers seasons three, four and five.
