One of many highlights among the 13 original songs is "In Exile/En Exilio," a plaintive adaptation of Psalms 137 and 13, and a unique approach to bilingual music. This setting has different melodies for the Spanish and English texts that can be sung separately or simultaneously for a beautiful, harmonious effect.
Designed for both the liturgy and personal listening, reflection and comfort, A Light in Darkness allows expression of lament while leading mourners to hope in the God who wipes away every tear.
I just wanted to tell you that we used your song/arrangement of Three Days for our Easter Vigil and Easter Morning liturgies. It was one of the most moving experiences of my directing career.
