Al Señor del Nuevo Siglo

Composed for use throughout the liturgical year, Al Señor del Nuevo Siglo's 12 Spanish-language songs express themes of social justice, faith, renewal, and rebirth. These songs of hope proclaim that despite the war and injustice that have plagued the earth throughout history, we are closer now to welcoming Jesus, "The Lord of the New Era," upon his triumphant return.

In this, his first collection for OCP, Juan shows why he is internationally recognized as one of the leading composers of Spanish liturgical music. Recorded in Spain with a choir and acoustic and electronic instruments, the CD features Juan as the solo vocalist.

The songbook includes the composer's reflections and meditations for each song in the collection.
