The Lord Is My Shepherd contains 14 original songs, hymns and choral anthems for liturgical celebrations throughout the year, including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost. Many songs feature texts by prominent writers, including Delores Dufner, OSB, Timothy Dudley-Smith, Michael Forster, James Quinn, SJ, and Janine Applegate.

Scot's music awakens the "sleeper," drawing us into joyful praise and song with strong, memorable melodies, a variety of contemplative and driving rhythms, and well-placed syncopation. "Gloria In Excelsis Deo," an impressive SAB choral anthem, stands out with its animated piano accompaniment. "Hymn To The Spirit" can serve as a lively-and much-needed-gathering song for Pentecost.
