This extended-length recording (over 70 minutes of music) is C.P. Mudd's fifth collection of original songs for worship based on Scripture and ritual. These 22 new songs lead us through the seasons of our prayer and life, featuring psalm settings, songs for funerals, Advent, Christmas, the catechumenate, and morning and evening prayer.

A lovely "shape note" setting of "A Living Hope" is included as a bonus track. Featuring the Ohio Valley Shape Note Singers, this old form of choral singing is receiving renewed interest and appreciation.
