Grief support after the death of a child. The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.
ACCESS (AirCraft Casualty Emotional Support Services)
AirCraft Casualty Emotional Support Services (ACCESS) is a national non-political, non-profit, tax-exempt (501c3) organization established to aid and facilitate the grieving process of people who have been affected by or involved in an air crash.
Bereaved Families provides support for people who have lost an immediate family member -- an infant, a child, an adult child, a parent, a brother or a sister, an adult sibling, a grandchild or a spouse. We support parents, guardians or family members helping a child grieve. We support the unique circumstances faced by survivors of violent death, survivors of completed suicide, and families seeking pregnancy after loss.

Provides bereavement services to children and teens in the Portland, Oregon, area. Web site offers information on youth bereavement as the National Center For Grieving Children And Families. "Facts for Families: Children And Grief" is one of 46 brief information sheets published by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Facts for Families series covers grief, support following disasters, psychiatric disorders, and other topics. Information is available in English, Spanish, and French.
