The richness of sacred Scripture and the original poetry of Carey Landry are the basis of this timeless inspirational music. These songs grew out of prayer, and it is Carey’s hope that people will make them their own and “pray” them in their own way.
Born out of Carey’s experiences and times of growth, these are songs for prayer and worship, for the liturgical seasons and every sacramental moment.
“Abba! Father!” is a hymn of adoration and praise based on the words of intimacy that Jesus used in addressing his Father. As such, it must be sung with great reverence. A vibrant, joyous setting, “Psalm 133: Oh, How Good” is meant to express the “refreshment” and “fragrance” that is found in a true community of loving brothers and sisters.
