Jenny Pixler developed a love for music at a young age, but it wasn’t until her high school years that her faith and her music came together. Through her involvement in the music ministry at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona, Jenny’s relationship with God flourished. With mentors like Tom Booth, Matt Maher, and Danielle Rose, she witnessed how to lead others in prayer through music.
Jenny is now leading others to experience the love of God at ministry events such as St. Meinrad School of Theology’s One Bread, One Cup conferences, Steubenville youth conferences, World Youth Day and the National Catholic Youth Conference. Along the way, she contributed her stunning vocal talent to several recordings, including projects for spirtandsong.com, Tom Booth, and Matt Maher.
Jenny enjoys art, the outdoors, culture, and religious studies. Her favorite religious writings are those of John Paul II on the nature and dignity of women, and the different philosophies of contemplative prayer. She recently moved to Portland, Oregon to begin pursuing a degree in music therapy at Marylhurst University. Her debut solo album, Invitation, was released in June 2007 through spiritandsong.com.
