Michael W. Warfel

Born in Elkhart, Indiana, Bishop Michael Warfel was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Anchorage on April 26, 1980. He was ordained and installed as the fourth Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Juneau, Alaska, on December 17, 1996. He served there until his appointment as Bishop of Great Falls-Billings, Montana, on November 20, 2007. Bishop Warfel earned a master's of divinity from St. Mary of the West, in Cincinnati, and a master of theology from St. Michael College, in Burlington, Vermont.
