Music that comforts -- tearful Air Force personnel singing “On Eagle’s Wings” for a fallen comrade. Music that celebrates -- two families singing “Love Never Fails” together at a wedding.

Prayer for the commute, prayer for the journey! Another delightful resource from master composer Christopher Walker and acclaimed author and Daughter of Charity Sister Paule Freeburg! This collaboration helps you begin and end your day with prayer, whether you're in the sanctuary of the driver's seat or the sanctuary of your home.
Turn "down" time into "up" time! For commuters, Morning and Evening is a great way to turn a stressful battle with traffic into a prayer-filled adventure. Put on these uplifting songs, prayers and readings during your drive to and from work or school: you'll arrive refreshed and better prepared to be the peace-filled Christian witness we're all called to be in this world.
Psalms, canticles, hymns, readings and more For each prayer service, Morning and Evening provides an invitatory, a hymn, two psalms, a Scripture reading, a short response, a Gospel canticle (Benedictus or Magnificat), intercessions (with time to add your own prayers), the Lord's Prayer and a closing blessing. Except for the reading, the entire prayer is sung.
It fits into your busy schedule! One disc in the two-CD set is devoted to morning services, one to evening. Divided into five days, the services are flexible, allowing you to use them however you wish. Since each one lasts about 15 minutes, they're easy to fit into even the busiest schedule.
New music by master composer Christopher Walker Christopher composed rich, melodic new settings for nearly every psalm and prayer. His songs for morning were written and recorded especially for those early hours. Gentle at times, they're also upbeat enough to energize us for the day's work ahead. His soothing, easy-paced evening songs help the listener to relax -- and re-focus on God again -- after a busy day. Songs feature an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional styles, from gospel to plainchant.
Inspiring song and prayer texts by Sister Paule Freeburg Sister Paule provided her usual poetic, Christ-centered song and prayer texts. Easy-to-learn, the melodies and words will soon become familiar, enabling you to sing and pray along. Ideal for commuters, Morning and Evening is also suitable for use by individuals and small groups at home, in hospitals, nursing homes, on retreat, and other settings.
