The collection includes many never-before-recorded songs, new recordings of popular songs, and songs from Primavera con Cristo, OCP's two-volume compilation.

Recorded by outstanding producers in cities around the country, the 3-CD set features a refreshing mix of contemporary styles. The producers include Andy Andino and his popular band Who Do You Say I Am in Cleveland, Ohio, Albert Coppo in Miami, Mauricio Centeno in Los Angeles, Rodolfo López in Portland, Oregon, and Santiago Fernández in Detroit.
Music by Mario Alberto, Sara Torres & Jesse Manibusan
Highlights include "Atrévete," by Mario Alberto, who will be familiar to many from his work with El Sembrador ministries, and "Sumérgeme," performed here by Who Do You Say I Am. Jesse Manibusan recorded a new Spanish version of his hit single "Open My Eyes" (Abre Mis Ojos). Sal de la Tierra also features several songs popular with communities in Miami and other East Coast cities, including "Yo Te Alabo," by well-traveled artist Sara Torres.
Popular songs drawn from all parts of Latin America
Many will recognize "Canción del Misionero," "Dios Está Aquí" and the other popular songs drawn from all parts of Latin America. Recorded and published for the first time in Sal de la Tierra, these songs are finally available for use by youth and young adult groups around the country. The collection also includes some bilingual, Spanish-English songs.
Sal de la Tierra is available in three different songbooks. The guitar/vocal book is a standard, full-size songbook with spiral binding and all the music and guitar accompaniments. The two very affordable assembly books include text-only versions of all 50 songs with guitar chords. The "supplement" edition has a short back cover so it can be inserted into a hymnal or missal cover. The assembly book with the "standard cover" has a full-size back cover and is designed for use as a hand-held, stand-alone booklet.
