Mauricio Centeno is an accomplished musician, producer, arranger, composer and choral director. He was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, where he began his extensive professional and international music career. He has focused his talent and knowledge on the development of liturgical, praise, and Christian pop music within the Hispanic Catholic community.
Known for his ability to unite people in song and praise, Mauricio writes songs that incorporate an array of Latin styles and rhythms. Mauricio has presented workshops in support of parishes that offer Spanish and bilingual liturgies. He has directed the music for several Los Angeles archdiocesan celebrations and other events in Southern California.
Mauricio is president and founder of MC Productions, an organization committed to evangelization through music. He resides in Pomona, California, with his wife, Miriam, and three sons.
