Alfredo Aníbal Morales is a Cuban composer. He graduated with a degree in piano, theory, solfeg, harmony and music history from the Music Studio Lecuona in Habana, Cuba. Later, he studied harmony and composition.

Since 1963 he has worked intensely to introduce Cuban rhythms into the liturgical celebrations in Spain, where he composed the 12 compositons for "Cuba sings to the Lord." The Pontifical Institute St. Pius the Tenth in Salamanca published these compositions which had been approved by the Cuban Bishops who gathered together for Vatican II. His style searches for ways to express faith in song using the native rhythms of Cuba.

At present he lives in the Dominican Republic where he teaches liturgical music classes for choir directors in parishes. His specialty is native song in the liturgy.
