Andrew Wright has been director of liturgical music for the Diocese of Brentwood, England, since 1982. Under his leadership, the music program at Brentwood Cathedral has grown to include five choirs and instrumental groups. A gifted composer, he has studied organ, piano, voice, and violin. While at Oxford he sang as an early member of the Tallis Scholars.

In 2008, Andrew was unanimously elected to an Honorary Fellowship of the Guild of Church Musicians in recognition of his "great contribution to church music over many years." Andrew is in good company. Other Honorary Fellows include Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Very Reverend Michael Tavinor. The Guild is an interdenominational organization based in London.

Andrew is also a Knight of the Pontifical Order of Saint Gregory the Great.
