Paul Inwood is an internationally known composer and workshop presenter. After working for 14 years at the St. Thomas More Centre for Pastoral Liturgy in England, Paul served five years as a cathedral organist, and another five years as a diocesan director of music. From 1991 to 1995 he called Southern California home, but returned to England as director of music for the cathedral in the Diocese of Portsmouth, England. He graduated summa cum laude from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Many of his compositions, including “Center of My Life,” were originally published by OCP in the St. Thomas More Group collections. In 2015 Paul was invited to participate in an international competition. Composers were asked to provide a hymn setting of a text by Eugenio Costa, SJ, for the Holy Year of Mercy. Paul’s submission was selected as the winning entry for the worldwide Church. Paul is the author of the hymn book Come, Praise the Lord, A Collection of James Quinn Hymns, released in 2018.
