José Aldazábal, SDB, presbyter (1933–2006), published several articles and books on topics in theology and pastoral liturgy. He was a professor on the theology faculty of Catalonia, president of the Pastoral Liturgical Center of Barcelona, and a member of the Consultation on Liturgy and Spirituality of Spain. He was editor of various publications of the Liturgical Institute of Barcelona.His book, Vocabulario Básico de Liturgia is still distributed by OCP and excerpts often appear in the quarterly bilingual magazine, Liturgia y Canción.
