Written by OCP composer Pedro Rubalcava, "Embrace Trust/Confía" is the theme song for the 2017 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. The motif of the bilingual song flows from the Lectionary readings for the Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B. Specially selected to write the song, Pedro expertly wove together some of the imagery from the readings, while at the same time, addressing the underlying question of what it means to trust in God on our faith journey.
