Meet Eric.

Eric is director of music at Holy Family Church in West Newton, a rural town 25 miles south of Pittsburgh. When Eric came to work at the parish a year ago, worshipers hadn’t experienced a choir for many years.

Members of the congregation love singing in church and are excited about new music, so Eric is taking steps to build a promising choir ministry. He applied for, and received, an OCP Parish Grant. The grant allowed him to purchase Breaking Bread missals as a foundation on which to build. To date, Eric has organized holiday choirs, and a choir for the installation of their new pastor in July. He hopes to soon have a church choir to lead the congregation in song every weekend.
