Raise Your Voice – An Inspirational Song Contest

OCP is looking for fresh inspirational music that speaks to our modern moment and shines a light on the path forward. Submit your original song and you could be selected to win a cash prize. Song entries will be judged by OCP, along with our panel of renowned artists and producers, including Josh Blakesley, Juan Delgado, Iván Díaz and Sarah Hart.

 

Entries will be accepted from October 5, 2020 to November 1, 2020 and should be submitted ONLY through the form on this page. A total of $1,000 will be awarded among three contest winners, in addition to $1,000 in charitable donations. Entrants will be given the opportunity to vote for receiving charities based on the causes listed below:

  • Racial justice
  • Environmental justice/climate change
  • Immigrant and refugee protections
  • Income equality and workers’ rights
  • Healthcare access
  • Gun violence
  • Domestic violence/sexual assault
  • Hunger/poverty

Important information:

  • One entry per artist.
  • Include a link for streaming of a single song. No downloads!
  • Song entrants must be at least 18 years of age. If under 18, a parent or legal guardian can submit the form on the entrant’s behalf.
  • Entries are from nations or territories outside of the U.S. are welcomed.
  • Winners will be chosen by a panel of OCP staff and composers in late November and notified in early December via the email address included on their entry form.
  • Selected winners are in no way guaranteed a publishing deal with OCP.
  • No purchase necessary.
  • All submitted songs must be original compositions and not someone else’s copyrighted material.
  • Submissions can be of any genre or style.
  • Artists retain all intellectual property rights to the works submitted.
  • Submission of your entry confirms that you have reviewed and agree to the official rules.
