According to the composer, this three-verse anthem could be used as “an alternative creed during more reflective festivals or seasons. It speaks the language of a contemporary profession of faith in a cosmic Christ rather than a simple profession of orthodoxy.” The melody, in a triple meter with harmonic changes on almost every beat, is mostly unison, except in the third verse, where SATB choral parts are added as an accompaniment.
