God the Father Sends His Angel

Appropriate for the seasons of Advent and Christmas and Marian feasts (written specifically for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception), this setting of Quinn’s six-verse text features a simple but memorable melody with a predictable, diatonic harmonization of a stepwise bass line. It will be easily learned by both the SATB choir and the assembly. This piece will be greatly enhanced by the separately downloadable parts for Handbells, Flute I & II, Trumpets I & II, Trombone I & II, and Timpani.
