Ricky Manalo, CSP
An accomplished liturgical musician, his music can be found in Catholic and protestant hymnals alike as well as in numerous collections from OCP including This Holy Light and On This Day. His newest collection, Spirit and Grace features his multi-cultural Mass Setting by the same name.
Additionally, as an expert in the field, he has written numerous articles and books on pastoral ministry, liturgical music, liturgical inculturation, and intercultural communication.
He is a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy, the Catholic Theological Society of America, the International Societas Liturgica, and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (Board Member, 2008-12). He is also the director of the Cultural Orientation Program for International Ministers/Priests (COPIM) of Loyola Marymount University and serves as an advisor to the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church and the Secretariat on Divine Worship.
Rev Ricky Manalo brings his wealth of knowledge and musical talent with him to many parishes and communities around the world where he conducts workshops and other pastoral events. When he is not traveling, he resides at Old St. Mary's Cathedral in Chinatown, San Francisco, CA.
