New music has been continually added to OCP's playlist of popular Catholic songs throughout the year. Recent additions include songs for Advent and Christmas including "Christ Our Light Has Come" by Steve Angrisano, "Santa Maria del Camino" by Juan Antonio Espinosa, "On Christmas Night" by M.D. Ridge, "You Are Near" by Dan Schutte, and "On Eagle's Wings" by Michael Joncas.

OCP was called the Catholic Truth Society of Oregon until 1980, when the publisher changed its name to Oregon Catholic Press, reflecting its focus on producing Catholic music and liturgical resources.
